Jamie Buckley, -Staff PT,DT
BS in Physical Therapy

Jamie hails from West Virginia making her our resident "spit fire".  Jamie lives in Raleigh with her husband Brennan and her 2 high energy boys, Ian (5) and George (2).
Jamie has worked for over 12 years in pediatric physical therapy & has been with The Aspen Center for 3 years.  She has extensive background in medical diagnosis, premature babies and children with a variety of syndromes and disorders.  She is great with a child that has multidisciplinary needs and is great at getting parents involved with the child’s therapy needs.  She is full of energy and she loves the kids like her own. 
Jamie also works as a developmental therapist at The Aspen Center for those children with "core", trunk and gross motor concerns.  Jamie is a teacher in the Building BLOCKS preschool program providing the program with expertise in gross motor development.


 

Michele Staudenmaier, Staff OT
MS in Occupational Therapy

Michele comes form the midwest but has lived all over the east coast.  She moved to the Raleigh area 4 years ago and has been with The Aspen Center for over 2 years.  Michele is our staff "Mama Bear" and lives in North Raleigh with her husband Dave and their 3 children Taylor, Zach and Jackson. 
Michele has 16 years experience with a wide variety of specialties.  She has worked for years in early intervention in preschool classrooms, daycares, clinics as well as at home with families.  Her expertise is extensive and includes: Sensory integration disorders, feeding issues, neuro and orthopedic based diagnosis.  Michele is trained in the Handwriting Without Tears program as well as the Therapeutic Listening Program.  Michele is a key team member in our Building BLOCKS program facilitating sensory integration, prewriting and writing tasks throughout the child's school day. 

Marla Seymour, Staff OT
MS in Occupational Therapy

Marla is from Louisianna and has lived on the east coast for years.  She currently lives in Wake Forest with her husband Bill and their 2 children Braedon (7)and Julia(4)-who she claims are"the most opposite children you will ever meet"
Marla has over 10 years experience in occupational therapy and has spent a majority of the time in early intervention.  Marla has a special love for multidiscipline therapy which brought her to The Aspen Center in August of 2009.  She has varied expertise in sensory integration, feeding intervention, fine motor and handwriting therapy.  
Marla is a key team member in our preschool program providing prewriting/writing, feeding, sensory integration and fine motor intervention to the Building BLOCKS program.  Marla is certified in the Handwriting Without Tears Program and provides the Listening Program to clients as well.  Marla also works as a developmental therapist for those children needing a therapist with strong skills in sensory integration or fine motor needs.
